Chromecast

Classic Chromecast and Chromecast with Google TV are different devices.

What you need

  • A Chromecast connected to your Wi-Fi network.
  • If it's a Chromecast with Google TV, follow the Android TV / Google TV guide instead: that's your device.
  • If it's a classic Chromecast (no remote or menus of its own): a phone or computer on the same network with a compatible app installed.

Install the app

  • No app is installed on a classic Chromecast: the app stays on your phone or computer.
  • Install the recommended app there instead (see the Android, iPhone/iPad, Windows or macOS guide).

Add your ASTERON details

  • Set up your ASTERON access details in the app on your phone or computer, not on the Chromecast.

First use

  • In the app, look for the cast icon, available only when the app supports it.
  • Choose your Chromecast from the list to send the video to your TV.
