Formuler

Dedicated device, our recommendation for your main TV.

What you need

  • Your Formuler device connected to the TV and the internet (Wi-Fi or, ideally, Ethernet).
  • The ASTERON access details for whichever method your device will use (Portal + MAC, Server/Portal + Username + Password, or M3U).

Install the app

  • The content management app (MYTVOnline or MYTVOnline3, depending on the model) comes pre-installed on the device.
  • Turn on the Formuler and complete the initial setup wizard (language, network, time zone).
  • If a firmware or app update is offered, accept it before continuing.

Add your ASTERON details

  • Open the content management app and choose the option to add a portal or a list.
  • MAC-ID/Portal setup: your Formuler has its own MAC address, so just enter the Portal URL ASTERON gives you.
  • Xtream Codes (XC) setup: enter the Server/Portal URL, Username and Password exactly as you received them.
  • M3U setup: enter the list URL provided by ASTERON.
  • ASTERON always tells you which of these methods to use and the exact details for your case.

First use

  • After saving the details, the app loads your content groups automatically.
  • Use the refresh/update option in the menu whenever you need to force a new sync.
  • Organise your favourite channels and content into favourites for quicker access.
  • If your model supports EPG, confirm the programme guide loads correctly.

Common issues

A dedicated device makes setup and the on-TV experience easier. Playback quality always depends on your internet connection.
