What you need

  • A Mac with an internet connection.
  • The ASTERON access details in M3U or M3U8 format.

Install the app

  • Install VLC, free from the project's official site.
  • In some cases, UHF is also available for macOS; check the App Store if you'd rather use that.

Add your ASTERON details

  • In VLC, choose File > Open Network Stream and paste the URL provided by ASTERON.
  • If using UHF, follow the add-source option inside the app.

First use

  • VLC plays the content, but it doesn't offer a catalogue, EPG or channel browsing like a dedicated IPTV player: it's mainly a playback solution.
