Samsung Smart TV (Tizen / Orsay)

What you need
- A Samsung Smart TV connected to the internet.
- The identifier (MAC or Device ID) shown by SmartOne.

Install the app
- Already have a compatible app that works well? You can keep using it. If you want a recommendation, we suggest SmartOne for this device because ASTERON can assist with the setup.
- Open Samsung Apps / Smart Hub on your TV.
- On Tizen, search for “SmartOne IPTV” in Samsung Apps / Smart Hub, then install and open it.
- Orsay is also officially supported, but installation varies by model. Confirm the TV system and contact ASTERON before following the official Orsay route.
- Availability varies by model, system and region. If it is not listed, ASTERON can recommend a suitable alternative such as IBO Player Pro.

Set up ASTERON
- In SmartOne, find the identifier shown by the app and send it to ASTERON exactly as displayed.
- ASTERON handles the remote association. You do not need to enter M3U, Xtream/XC, host, port, username or password in this path.

First use
- Once ASTERON confirms the setup, use Reload in SmartOne or fully close and reopen the app.
- If ASTERON does not appear, check the identifier you sent and repeat only the reload/reopen step before changing anything else.

Common issues
SmartOne is a third-party player. Its 14-day app trial is separate from the 24-hour ASTERON trial; the SmartOne licence is independent and is not automatically included with an ASTERON subscription.
